The hotel rooms adopted a simple and classic design aesthetic with warm timber floors and white marble surfaces reminiscent of Parisian apartments, whilst the foyer was opened up to create light and space.

Walls have been stripped to give a nod to the buildings beginnings. Colour has been restricted to a cool palette, and the newly built and installed staircase creates a robust yet elegant focal point.

The building form reads as a series of boxes assembled from the finer scales of the surrounding architecture. The central atrium offers a place for socialising and acts as an organising element within the building.
